Project introduction: Nigeria Yongxing Steel Plant's own power station has an installed capacity of 45MW, the gas turbine is a PG6531 gas turbine unit manufactured by JOHNBROWN with a capacity of 36700Kw, and the steam turbine is a Siemens production capacity of 16630KW. The boiler is a natural circulation horizontal boiler produced by Nanjing Boiler Works.

In October 2018, the South China Sea engineering and technical team went to Nigeria for the first project inspection, basically confirming the project construction capacity and site selection;

On December 6, 2018, the self owned power station of Nigeria Yongxing Iron and Steel Plant of South China Sea Project was officially established, and the preliminary work of the project was gradually carried out.

On March 10, 2019, the foundation laying and civil construction of the self owned power station project began.

On August 15, 2019, the overhaul and localization transformation of PG6531 gas turbine were completed, and the ignition was successful at full speed and no-load (Shenzhen).

On November 29, 2019, the main equipment was shipped to Nigeria.

On March 11, 2020, the equipment arrived in Nigeria to start the installation of gas turbine, boiler, steam turbine and electrical system

September 18, 2020 Gas turbine grid connected power generation

On October 16, 2020, the turbine will be connected to the grid for power generation

On November 18, 2020, the combined cycle will complete 72 hour test run and be connected to the grid for commercial power generation
